Aviation doesn't need another sustainability idea.
It needs a system that works.

If your organisation is serious about moving beyond single use, the system behind reuse matters as much as the cup itself. Sky Cups is building that system for aviation — from gate to ground.

The question stayed with Helen.

For decades, Sky Cups founder Helen Tobias watched inflight service carts roll past with neatly stacked single-use cups. Used once. Then waste.

In 2025, the question changed: what if we could actually solve it? The conversations that followed made one thing clear. The challenge was not convincing people that single-use waste mattered. It was replacing it without creating another problem somewhere else.

Cost matters. So do logistics, hygiene and biosecurity, turnaround times, crew workflows, and passenger experience. Airlines and airports need someone who can orchestrate the fix.

The operation should not bend around a pre-set model.

Reusable cups already exist. So do washing facilities, logistics providers, technology, and specialist capability. The opportunity is to connect those pieces around the needs of aviation.

No single organisation has to solve reuse alone.
